Rocky, full of roots, with countless variations, Downhill is a technically very demanding trail. It was constructed by trail designer Diddie Schneider for the 2005 and 2006 World Cups and has retained this character despite various extensions and renewals. Experienced bikers will find varied drop and jump combinations. The highlights are the road gap and the drop of up to six metres in the middle. The most difficult elements can be circumvented. But the bypasses are also demanding. Due to the roots you must take special care in wet weather conditions.

After about 520 meters, the route divides into an easy line (medium) and a hard line (difficult).

eMountain bikers should approach the trail carefully, especially if they have a lower spring rate. Due to the steepness of the trail, expect braking distances to be larger. This applies particularly to eBikes with standardized braking systems.
