Rocky, rooty, with countless variations, the downhill is a technically very demanding route. It was built by trail designer Diddie Schneider for the 2005 and 2006 World Cups and has retained this character despite various extensions and renovations. There are varied drop and jump combinations for the experts. The highlights are the road gap and the up to six meter high drop in the middle area. The most difficult elements can be bypassed. But the detours are also demanding. Be careful when it is wet due to the roots.

After about 520 meters, the route splits into an easy line (medium) and a hard line (difficult).

eMountain bikers should approach the route carefully, especially if they don't have much suspension. Due to the steepness of the route, a longer braking distance is to be expected. This applies in particular to eBikes with standardized braking systems.
